The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is all about discovery, experience and exhilaration. In order to do an Advanced Open Water Diver Course with Orca Industries you require your PADI Open Water Diver Course certification.
The Advanced Open Water Diver Course provides the opportunity to get more dives under your belt while you learn under the supervision of your ORCA PADI Dive Instructor. During the course you will be able to build on your scuba diving skills and what you have learned, thus getting introduced to new activities and new ways to have fun while scuba diving.
The PADI Adventures in Diving program offers both Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three more adventure dives for a total of five dives, you earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Once you have completed your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course you qualify to do any of the following speciality courses:
- Search & Recovery Diver
- Deep Diver
- Wreck Diver
- Underwater Naturalist
- Night Diver
- Dry Suit Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver
- Underwater Photography
- Underwater Navigator

Requirements to enroll on a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course
- You must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- 15 years or older (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
Duration for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course
- 4 Lectures (18:00 – 20:30 week nights)
- 5 Sea Dives (2 weekends 09:00 – 16:00)
Included in the Orca PADI Advanced Diver Course:
Orca Industries includes the diving equipment & gear free of charge for the duration of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. This includes your mask, fins, gloves, booties, weight belt, snorkel, BCD, regulator, cylinder, exposure suit, SPG, alternate Air source, compass, dive computers, octo’s, wet suit and dive bag (if you do not already have your own).
